This modular dual-agent trailer is another example of Williams’ custom engineering meeting the emerging demands of the market- place. Able to roll onto a transportation emergency, to lay a full attack onto a process unit area fire, to engage, contain and extinguish aircraft fire emergencies, or to apply a Type III response to a storage tank —this trailer packs a great deal of response authority into a compact yet robust mobile package.

OnBoard Foam Stores
Foam stores are provided via two (2), 265/330 gal foam totes that are secured via stainless steel tracks and unique “toe clamp” that locks tote down during deployment and transportation.

Foam Manifold Piping is SCH 10 and 316 stainless steel with NPT, grooved and/or 150# flanged connections as required. All stainless foam piping is of maintenance free natural finish with mechanically and/or chemically cleaned weld joints.

The below decks foam manifold system carries foam to all desired onboard foam discharge points while also facilitating off board pick up from a tote or other source of foam. Four (4) 2” gated outlets are placed one on each side (in front of fenders), one on the front of the trailer for primary nozzle support, and one at the rear for foam loading/off loading.

Dry Chemical Storage
The trailer is also equipped with (2) 350 lb ANSUL dry-chemical tanks filled PKW dry chemical. Also included are three (3) 400-cu/ft nitrogen bottles to be used as propellant for the PKW dry-chemical stored in the ANSUL tanks. Onboard dry-chemical systems are able to be discharged at a rate of 20 lbs of dry chemical per second thru the master stream dual-agent dry chemical nozzle as part of the fire stream or thru the 1.50” hand line dual-agent dry chemical nozzles.

All dry-chemical plumbing is also routed underdecks to free work- space of obstruction.

Monitor and Waterway Assembly
The water/foam response capabilities of this trailer are powered by a 5” stainless steel waterway feeding a 2,000 gpm 3-way portable monitor mounted via the Williams Fire & Hazard Control Daspit Tool. This rigid clamping system allows for three tactical configurations:

  • Trailer mount
  • “Throw-Down” ground assault
  • Tank Rim-Mount for tank seal protection

Water/Foam Nozzle
Williams Fire & Hazard Control will outfit your trailer with any of our Ranger Series Master Stream or CenterShot nozzle to provide a 2,000 gpm water/foam solution to the fire with an minimum effective range of 300 feet at 100 psi while flowing 2,000 gpm.

While flowing 1% our self-educting Ranger Series foam nozzles are capable of flowing 2,000 gpm when positioned at the same level as the foam supply, and 1,500 gpm when positioned up to 24 feet above the foam supply.

These nozzles are also adjusted from full fog to straight stream dur- ing operation with minimal effort.

Dry Chemical Nozzle
Williams Fire & Hazard Control’s 2,000 gpm dual-agent dry-chemical nozzle is capable of discharging dry-chemical extinguishing agent thru the fire stream while flowing water and/or water foam solution for the purpose of extinguishing a pressure fed or 3 dimensional fire from a safe distance.

Trailer Lighting
The onboard Halogen lighting package illuminates all work areas including tool box, foam and dry-chem connections, deck areas, plumbing connections, and step rails. DOT compliant lighting is LED. All lights are charged via onboard battery power by way of a Kussmaul Auto Charge 1000 battery charger with a 20Amp auto eject (battery shuts off when trailer is in tow and lights are turned on) and vented cover.

Non-Skid Deck surfacing
Onboard operations are made safer by the trailer’s heavy-duty extruded fiberglass waffle patterned decking which exceeds NFPA slip resistance standards.

Trailer Paint
Williams Fire & Hazard Control paint finishes are automotive grade DuPont paint based on etching primer, filler primer, and two top coats of single stage paint.
