PORT ARTHUR, Texas (Jan. 5, 2024) — The management of Williams Fire & Hazard Control, a leader in emergency response services and manufacturing of firefighting hardware, together with support of BaiWin Management, LLC, has purchased select assets of the Williams business from Johnson Controls. The transaction was completed on Dec. 31.
“This transaction signifies our dedication to investing in the future of Williams’ emergency response products and solutions, aligning with the demands of our customers,” said Stephen Greak, CEO. “We look forward to continuing to invest in operations and product development, and to an ongoing partnership with Johnson Controls to provide its high-performance, non-fluorinated foams to Williams customers.”
With over four decades of experience, the Williams Fire & Hazard Control team leads the industry in flammable liquid fire response. In addition to its response capability, the team has designed and developed several innovations to firefighting equipment, including RangerTM nozzles, DependapowerTM pumps and AmbassadorTM monitor trailers.
Going forward, customers will continue to benefit from the same quality foam hardware provided by Williams, along with the emergency response services, training and safety audits for which the business is well known. The new ownership team will also continue to operate the Williams plant and headquarters in Port Arthur.
